UNIQLO North American And European Market Revenue Report
Recently, fast retailing, the parent company of clothing brand UNIQLO, released the 2022 interim report. During the half year period from September 2021 to February 28, 2022, Fast Retailing achieved an operating revenue of 1.22 trillion yen, an increase of 1.3% over the same period in 2021; The total profit was 189.278 billion yen, a year-on-year increase of 12.7%.
According to the financial report, in the first half of fiscal year 2022, FMCG achieved higher operating income and huge profit income, and its operating profit reached a record high. Among them, North America and Europe have strong sales performance, improved profit structure and significant growth in operating profit; South Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania achieved record sales and operating profits. A series of data show that UNIQLO International's revenue pillar continues to grow and diversify.
In sharp contrast, UNIQLO's Japanese business revenue and profits declined, and the Greater China market business was no longer brilliant. Gu's revenue and profits were also affected by the weather.
Once, the Chinese market was UNIQLO's most important overseas market, but now the profit contribution of the United States and Europe has expanded significantly, from about 5% to 20%, becoming the new revenue pillar.
Fast sale forecasts that in the second half of 2022, UNIQLO's Japanese market and greater China's revenue and profit are still not optimistic. Europe and North America will perform more strongly, and Southeast Asia and Oceania will continue to drive UNIQLO's international business growth.
