Children'S Clothing Is Not Eligible For Sampling Inspection.

Recently, the Guangzhou Municipal Council and the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of industry and Commerce for the sampling inspection of children's products showed that the baby jacket of Guangzhou Jian Shi Baby Products Co., Ltd. was not qualified, and the pH value of fabric was up to 9.

According to the national standard, the clothing of direct contact with skin should be controlled between 4 and 7.5, and infants' safety requirements for clothing are especially high.

If the clothing's pH is too high, it will irritate the skin and even cause skin infection.

If the human body is exposed to formaldehyde for a long time, it will cause dermatitis, itching and other symptoms. Severe cases can even lead to infection, ulceration and carcinogenesis.

The Guangzhou Municipal Council and the Guangzhou industrial and commercial bureau yesterday released the results of the random sampling of children's products, of which the quality of children's wear and children's shoes was the most worrying. The rate of quality compliance was only 66.7% and 63.6% respectively.

In 2008, the baby Kang Kang T-shirt of Guangzhou Jian Shi Baby Products Co., Ltd. was also inspected unqualified because of "pH value and banned azo dyes".

Guangzhou Jian Shi Baby Products Co., Ltd. recently wrote that in May 18, 2010 and June 2nd, the "baby Kang Kang" fabric was re inspected for two times, and the detection results were 6.3 and 6.4, respectively, which were all up to the national standard (4.0-7.5).

Analysts of the baby industry research center believe that the quality of the products being submitted for inspection is controlled by the manufacturers themselves and is not representative. Therefore, the results of the inspection are not equal to the re inspection, but only the samples that represent the active inspection are qualified.
