Tajikistan Plans To Continue To Increase Cotton Textile Exports

Tajikistan's Avista news agency Dushanbe reported on April 9 that according to the main macroeconomic indicators of Tajikistan from 2021 to 2023, Tajikistan plans to continue to increase cotton textile exports in the next three years, including cotton socks, cotton yarn and finished cotton fabrics, with an annual export growth rate of 20% and an increase of 90 million US dollars by 2023.

Most of the textile materials exported from the tower are lint. In the first two months of this year, the export volume of textile materials and its products reached 56.058 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 24.6%; among them, lint export accounted for 75.5%, reaching 42.373 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 34.1%. Over the same period, the import volume of textile materials and products in Tajikistan was 12.5 million US dollars.
