Spunbonded Nonwovens Production United Machine Industry Standard Working Group Meeting Held Successfully

On March 12, 2024, the first meeting of the third session of the National Nonwovens Machinery Standardization Sub Committee (SAC/TC215/SC3) was held in Changshu, Jiangsu Province. Hou Xi, Vice President of China Textile Machinery Association, Li Xueqing, Chief Engineer of China Textile Machinery Association and Director of the National Textile Machinery and Accessories Standardization Technical Committee, and members of the third session of the Nonwovens Machinery Sub Committee, More than 60 representatives from local market supervision departments and nonwoven machinery enterprises attended the meeting.

According to the Announcement of the National Standardization Administration Commission on Approving the Transformation of 28 Technical Committees including the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Medical Appliances (No. 19 in 2023), the National Subcommittee on Nonwovens Machinery Standardization was approved. The meeting read out the list of members of the National Nonwovens Machinery Standardization Sub Technical Committee (SAC/TC215/SC3), and issued the certificate of members.

The meeting invited Zhang Chunye, Director of the Intellectual Property Industry Promotion Division of Suzhou Municipal Market Supervision Administration, to introduce the experience of standards and patents in working together to deal with international intellectual property disputes, which received warm responses from the participants.

Liu Ge, secretary-general of the third nonwoven machinery sub committee, introduced the work of the new committee, reported the completion of the standard work of the second sub committee, and interpreted and explained the standard system and recent work under the jurisdiction of this sub committee.

The examination and approval meeting for the industry standard of spunbonded nonwoven production complex and the working group meeting for the revision of the industry standard of nonwoven carding machine were held at the same time. The main authors of the industry standard working group of Spunbonded Nonwovens Production Complex reported the main contents of the draft for review, the summary of comments solicited, and the preparation instructions for the draft for review. The members present at the meeting carefully reviewed the draft submitted for review and put forward a number of suggestions for revision.

The industry standard of Nonwovens Carding Machine (plan number: 2023-0890T-FZ) was organized by China Textile Machinery Association, and more than 50 representatives of nonwovens carding machine related equipment manufacturing enterprises, user enterprises, research institutes, colleges and universities attended the meeting. The meeting introduced the preliminary research and project schedule of the standard, preliminarily discussed the overall framework of the standard and formulated the next work plan.
